Does Chinese Checkers work offline?

Yes. The JumpStar AI engine runs on device with a bundled model and inference engine.

Does Chinese Checkers collect data?

Offline games, replays, ratings, preferences, and puzzle progress stay on your device. Optional friend play uses limited data to run private games, match opted-in contacts, and send turn notifications.

Chinese Checkers also collects anonymous aggregate feature counts. These reports have no persistent analytics identifier and never include contacts, invite codes, board positions, moves, messages, or saved replays. You can turn them off in Settings. Chinese Checkers has no advertising or cross-app tracking.

Where are replays stored?

Your played-game replays are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded.

Why is JumpStar thinking?

JumpStar searches for a move on your device. Stronger difficulty levels can make the AI stronger but slower.

How do I change difficulty?

Open Settings from the Play screen and choose Beginner, Clever, or Expert.

What is Daily Puzzle?

Daily Puzzle gives you a position to solve by finding a strong move. Hints and the answer are available in the Puzzle tab.

How do I report an issue?

Open an issue on GitHub with the app version, device model, iOS version, and a short description of what happened.
